Yasamin Yazhari, DDS
Dr. Yazhari is absolutely thrilled to be joining Dr. Rozas and her team! From the moment she stepped into the practice, she felt a true sense of belonging and home. She is truly honored to be a part of this remarkable team and have the valuable opportunity to provide dental care to the children of Coppell. Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Yazhari’s educational journey began at UT Arlington, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and discovered her passion for this field. She then earned her dental degree from UT San Antonio Health Science Center and further honed her expertise with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the UT Houston School of Dentistry. For four rewarding years, she practiced in a private setting while also serving as an Associate Professor at the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry.
During her private practice years, Dr. Yazhari uncovered her calling in pediatric dentistry. The resilience and breadth of dental challenges younger patients faced deeply moved her, and to refine her skills, she embarked on a dedicated pediatric dental residency at UT San Antonio Health Science Center, where she provided care to children in clinical and hospital settings. She ultimately served as the Chief Resident during her final year. Today, she takes pride in holding Board Certification in pediatric dentistry from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
What Kind of Continuing Education Do You Do?
Dr. Yazhari’s commitment to education and organized dentistry remains unwavering! She currently serves as an Associate Professor at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where she has the privilege of teaching in the Department of Pediatrics. She also actively contributes to the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. As a trained pediatric dentist with a broad background in general and specialty dentistry, she handles routine operative visits as well as complex cases under general anesthesia.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Beyond her professional life, Dr. Yazhari has a deep-seated passion for exploration and adventure. Traveling is not just a hobby; it’s a way of life for her! She’s thrilled to share this love with her husband and family.
